Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2011
I made something based on this recipe for dinner, I put in celery, onions, garlic and mushrooms for the veggies, and since I didn't have cream, I stirred in some cream cheese Delicious! we all loved it!

Vegetarian Bean Curry

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
Excellent! The whole family liked this, we had it with some yoghurt. it's not too spicy of a curry on its own, my 1.5 year old ate it plain without problems. I would probably cook the lentils first like another reviewer suggested, I had to stir quite a bit and I added water throughout the hour of simmering. Will definitely go into the recipe box! Thanks :)

Whipped Butternut Squash

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
I cooked my squash based on this recipe, it looks like the amount of margarine and sour cream are very high! but butternut squash come in different sizes so maybe mine were on the smaller side I cut the squash in half and seeded it and cooked it in the microwave until tender Scooped it out, mushed it, then added a heaping spoonful of sour cream (full fat, that's what I had) and a nub of butter, and some pepper and garlic salt. It was absolutely delicious and really easy, thanks for the inspirations!

Lentils for Stagflation

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
This was surprisingly good! I added a little extra curry because I knew I'd want more curry, my husband liked this with yoghurt on top :) oh I also added some extra water because I wanted my lentils nice and soft for my 13month old daughter, both her and my 3.5 year old enjoyed this as well!

Zucchini Patties

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
I improvised loosely on this recipe, I added garlic and used spring onions since that was what I had on hand... added italian breadcrumbs, and used smoked gouda instead of mozzarella (again, what was in my fridge) came out delicious, although more hashbrowny than in the picture... we all loved it, including my 3.5 year old daughter, she ate a ton of this

Sweet and Tangy Slow Cooker Bar-B-Q Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
This was excellent, I left the water out, and I added some tomato sauce instead the sauce was a very runny, but that's the way all crockpot stuff comes out for me so it's likely not the recipe's fault I served this with corn on the cob, my kids and husband loved it
