Man-Lovin' Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
I'm giving this a 5 star! I made one time and since then it. Is constantly requested by my family and friends! I make it exact to recipe minus the bacon. This is my go to recipe from here on out! Make it, you won't regret it!

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
This is the best recipe! I was out of French onion soup mix and so I was needing a recipe that didn't need it. I'm so glad I found this because I will never make a different recipe again! I did have to improvise on some of the ingredients because I didn't have exact plus I used some of the other reviewers advice and for these reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of a 5. First I put salt pepper and garlic powder on the roast then browned it in olive oil. I moved that to the crockpot. Then I took the sauce ingredients and instead of mixing them in a bowl I mixed them in the pan I browned the meat in and got all the goodies left in the pan and then poured it in the crockpot. I also sliced p a half of onion and threw it in the crockpot as well. I didn't have the individual ingredients so I just used Italian Seasoning. Also I used Better Than Bullion instead of a bullion cube. I did 3 cups of water to 1tsp of base. I used the full amount of soy sauce and not reduced sodium and had no problem with it being too salty. Maybe because I used the Better than Bullioin instead of a cube.....I also didn't use bay leaves because I didn't have any. This turned out amazing and super tender! I didn't even have to cook it for the full 10 hours on low. It took about 8 hours instead. This will be my go to recipe from here on! Thank you!

Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
This was so delicious! I didn't have the Mirin Wine, so I substituted Sherry Wine with 2 TBSP of sugar (googled what can be substituted and it gave me this). My kids (5,4 & 19 months) LOVED it as well as my hubby. Thank you for sharing, I will NEVER buy again!

Snow Cone Syrup II

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
My son is allergic to anything artificial. So snow cones have never been doable for him. After seeing this recipe I realized I could make an all natural version. I skinned and cubed a fresh peach, pureed it and then used the measurements for the rest of the recipe and followed the same directions. 1 peach is plenty. Jarred this and brought it to our church function that serves snow cones. I poured it over and you would never have known the difference BUT better flavor! Plus the color is all natural and it really was delicious. Other kids were asking for mine instead of the fake stuff.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
I know this is a "basic" recipe but it is super delicous. Everytime I make it I litterally do not have ANY leftovers even when making it for 20+ people. Also, I made it for a bunch of kids(ages 2-10) for dinner and they all ate thirds...no lie! Thanks for sharing!

Baked Omelet

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
I just saw this recipe in my email from allrecipes.com and decided to make it for breakfast this morning since I hadn't made anything yet. It was delicious and so easy! I love that with omelets you can add anything you have and want and make it your own. I will definitely be making this again! I didn't have seasing salt so I just added pepper, salt and garlic powder and it had great flavor.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
This sauce is amazing! My little boy is allergic to fake preservatives and so I have been looking for a good BBQ Sauce to make...this is the best one I've tried! I didn't have Red Wine Vinegar so I used just plain Vinegar and it was delicous. It reminded me of Southern BBQ back home with the vinegar taste. I'm going to make it this time with the RWV and see which I like best. Thanks "Big Al" for this recipe....You Rock!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
Just made these for a party the other night!!! They are so delicious! There were only 8 of us there and about half the pan was gone at the end of the night! I am going to try and do 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar this time and see how that goes....but if you make these as the recipe calls for, you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks Brooke!!!

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
I've been making this for almost 5 years now and my husband and kids LOVE IT! I do it a bit differently but it still turns out delicious. Instead of mashing carrots....I do the meat as it says (I add garlic to it though and seasonings to my liking), then I add a small bag of frozen mixed veggies to it, spread it in the pan then top with mashed potatoes and cheese on top! This is a great meal and easy to prepare in advance too! ENJOY!

Chex® Muddy Buddies®

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
These are super easy and yummy!!! I just made them for the first time but instead of Chex, I used Crispex...Chex has preservatives in it that my kids can't have but the large box of Crispex doesn't. These are delicious and my kids can eat them wherever we go for a great snack!

Salmon Cakes II

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
Absolutely delicious! I've been trying to find more ways to use up our Salmon Fillets and this was perfect! I used 3- 6 oz. fillets instead of the canned salmon. I broiled them with Lemon Pepper seasoning. Flaked them out of the oven and cooled it down. Then I chopped them up and added everything it called for in the recipe. But doubled b/c this made 10 Salmon Cakes instead of 4. I also added garlic and salt. They turned out so delicious that even my 1 and 3 year old ate them! Next time I'll try baking them liked suggested. Also, I served them with a mixture of Mayo, Dijon mustard and some Tabasco. Super yummy...Thank you so much Jeanie for the Fabulous Recipe!!!!

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2010
I've made these several times and my WHOLE family loves them!!!! I honestly wonder why I even buy frozen french fries when I do buy them! If you want some good homemade french fries, then look no further, this is the recipe. I made this exactly how it says and they were wonderful. But it is such a simple recipe that you could add any other seasoning you want for sure! ENJOY!!!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
My husband LOVES meat loaf... but was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and my normal recipe uses bread crumbs. I found this online and decided to give it a try....SO GLAD I DID!!! I put them in my muffin pan and they turned out awesome! I used the suggestions that others said as far as letting the oatmeal mixture "settle" together for a little bit....and it was delicious. I also added finely chopped onions and bell pepper and fresh pressed garlic. It was delicious. Also for the Ketchup Sauce: I added Worcestershire Sauce and Tabasco....DELICIOUS! Thank you so much! My husband LOVED IT!
