Delicious! I doubled the strawberries and reduced the sugar, oil, and cinnamon- turned out perfect

Broccoli Crawfish Cheese Soup

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
Made this for dinner tonight and everyone loved it! I used shrimp instead of crawfish because the local store didn't have crawfish.

Cherry-Chocolate Macaroon Pie

This was edible, but nothing special. It was way too sweet in my opinion.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
My family LOVES this soup! I always make it using a rotisserie chicken from Costco and following the review written by naples34102. Also, I use regular rice instead of quick-cooking and it works just as well.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
Fantastic recipe: very easy and quick to put together and tastes great. I usually use garlic powder to make it even quicker and it works just as well as fresh.

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
This was delicious! One downside is that they burned because the chicken stock ended up boiling out (as noted by another review). Also, be careful about adding salt; I added barely any and it still turned out pretty salty. I'm guessing the smoked turkey must have been fairly salty.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
Turned out excellent. Followed the recipe exactly as written. They turned out slightly messy: kept falling over on my baking dish after I stuffed them, but turned out delicious!

Seafood Lasagna II

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
Decided to make this today to use up extra shrimp and imitation crab meat that I had in the fridge. Made this exactly as written except omitted the bay scallops because I didn't have them. Also, I assembled the lasagna and realized I forgot to precook the noodles; I poured about 1/2 a cup of hot water over the lasagna before baking and it turned out great. My husband and I both decided it was pretty good; not "out of this world" good, but not a bad recipe over all. Its shrimp alfredo in lasagna form. Not sure how soon I will make this again; probably a recipe I will use again only when I have the necessary ingredients and need to use them up :)

Pineapple Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 28, 2014
I needed to use up a couple cans of chunk pineapple that were taking up room in my pantry so I decided to try this recipe. Instead of a prepared crust I made my own; I mixed a couple packages of crushed graham crackers with butter, pressed into a square springform and baked for about 10mins. When making the cream cheese mixture, I used a blender to chop up the pineapple and then a cheesecloth to squeeze out all the liquid. The mixture turned out beautiful-pretty firm even before refrigeration. Very simple and delicious recipe.

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2014
Careful when adding flour, I ended up needing only 4 cups to make the perfect dough. I added only 1 tsp of salt because I used salted butter. I brushed the tops with milk since I heard it makes them soft, not crispy on top. I thought the recipe failed because they came out of the oven almost rock hard, but softened up immensely as they cooled. I baked them to use for sandwiches for my husbands lunches so as soon as they cooled, I grabbed the funniest looking one and made a sandwich to taste test. It was delicious! I thought it was the perfect mixture of softness/chewiness and the taste was delicious.

Microwave Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2014
I recently threw a large party in the park and needed to cook 50 ears of corn. I decided to try precooking the corn in the microwave and then throwing it on the grill right before serving. It worked amazingly and tasted delicious.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2014
The cookies turned out delicious. However, I followed other reviews and added 1/2 cup more flour, but it was unnecessary; the cookie dough turned out harder than I wanted and barely spread during baking. Next time ill try them without adding extra flour or only adding 1/4 cup

Oriental Green Bean Salad

I made these yesterday on my wok. They have a salty/sour taste to them so I added a couple tbsps of sugar to suit my tastes. Turned out delicious

My Grandmother's Potato Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2014
I have never tried potato chip cookies, but decided to make these to use up 3 small bags of chips that no one wanted. I was a little skeptical because of the simplicity of the ingredients and becuase the dough turned out very soft and buttery. I baked them until golden around the edges and they turned out really good. Just a delicious, simple cookie, nothing extravagant. Just a note, the dough doesn't seem to spread much during baking so you want to flatten them before baking. Also, I used a little more than 1.5 cups of potatoe chips and it turned out fine (I didnt want to throw away any leftovers from the bags).
