I don't know what I did wrong. I followed the recipe and instructions to the T and the batter came out really thick. I know I am not supposed to taste it because of the raw egg, but I did anyways and the batter tasted really dull. I don't like to give up after the first try, so I will make these again, maybe tonight or tomorrow morning. I will read some reviews and take some suggestions from the others and we'll see if that works out a little better.
**UPDATE: As promised, I made these again but with modifications, added 1 tsp vanilla extract, added the dry ingredients to the wet by adding 1/2 cup of the flour first, then 1 tablespoon at a time till I got to the right consistency, I also used lemon juice instead of the vinegar. When finished I used a 1/4 measuring cup to pour the batter onto the pan, spread the batter softly with a spatula and flipped once the big bubbles started to appear. These were much much better this way. Thank you for sharing =)
