Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
So good. Only change I made was using 1 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup amaretto. Delicious. I will be using this recipe again.

Tangy Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2012
The first time I made this ham, it was pretty good but not the best. My grandma told me to use only a teaspoon of zest and instead of 1 1/4 cup of brown sugar, to use only one cup brown sugar and 1/3 cup amaretto. Also, BASTE. A LOT. Was delicious.

Maria's Broccoli Rabe

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
I don't know why everyone is changing the recipe. It taste perfect just the way it is. If I'm in the mood then I'll add some cayenne pepper but otherwise I leave as is. Good job Maria.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
I thought my French Toast were the best but these are by far, better. My toddler who is very picky and doesn't like to eat much, dogged these french toast as if I've never fed her. I guess this will be my new "secret" recipe. Just hope no one I know uses Allrecipes.com.

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
I made some changes of my own with this recipe. I seasoned it over night with some seasoned salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, rosemary and sage. Then I preheated the oven to 500 degrees F before I put the roast in. I lowered it to 375 after that and followed the directions as says here. It came out perfect. My family wanted seconds and thirds. Made my day. Thanks Salsiepie

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
Made this for my family and was very pleased with the results. My daughter said its the best chicken she's ever had. And my husband loves it too. The only difference I made was instead of all-purpose flour, I used corn flour. I also didn't mix the flour in the crumb batter but dipped the chicken in the flour first, then the egg, then the potato/cracker crumbs. I also marinated the chicken before I made it with some lemon, basil, salt, pepper and paprika. I will definitely be using this recipe from now on.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
I did what one of the reviewers said and added baking powder but now my cookies taste like chocolate chip cake. Taste good but I'm going for a chewy cookie. I'll try it without the Baking Powder and see if its any better.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This recipe is great. I tried it with Mahi fish and tilapia and they both came out great. I did add on some tips from Sharon since everyone says its better that way and I couldn't agree more. Will be making this dish again

Ham with Honey and Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
This recipe has been used in my family for years. I add half cup amaretto and a tsp of cinnamon to the recipe which just makes it a lil bit better.

Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I made it for the first time and absolutely loved it. I did make some modification as per some other comments. Like instead of 1 1/2 cup sugar, I used half cup white sugar and half cup brown sugar. I also used fresh nutmeg and vanilla. And instead of using 2 cups water, I only used one. My husband never tried peach cobbler and he's not a peach person, but he loved it. Especially right out of the oven with some vanilla ice cream

Best Ever Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
I tried all the other recipes for cake with the million ingredients and none tastes as good as this one. Simple but delicious. My husband loved it. My father n law (who likes nothing) loved them too.
