Tater Tot Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2002
Very quick and easy to make, the kids like it pretty well. No left overs. Tasted good. Can use french fries in place of tater tots. It's a good meal but not something to RAVE about.

I think I seriously messed this recipe up. Will try again, but will add a few veggies to help give it a better taste.

Stroganoff

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2002
Not a bad topping for noodles, but not what I think of when I think of Stroganoff. It's very messy so that explains the low kid friendly rating. I might try this again but I will spice it up and make sure to add some tomatoes.

Scrumptious Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2002
I made this last night and it was a HUGE hit. The low kid rating is because it's very messy. It doesn't set up like you might think. I used wal-nuts instead of pecans because I had those on hand. It was fine that way too. (My mother in law makes a version of this recipe wth pecans). However, I am not much of a nut person and left a little with only the crumbly mixture and it was very yummy. Bake your sweet potatoes for about 20-25 mintues and wait for them to cool. Then cut a slit in the them and turn inside out. Works like a charm! Will make this one again!

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2001
This is a great recipe. For the biscuits I suggest getting you rolling pin slightly wet and then roll the dough just enough to cover the hole of you muffin pan. Then drop the meat in and this will pull it down. My kids and husband loved this recipe!

Applesauce French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2001
My kids loved this recipe. I am going to try adding more applesauce the next time though. I had to triple the recipe to feed my family and I didn't think there was enough apples, however my kids begged for more.

Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2001
This cookie is awesome! I still rolled into balls and "forked" and it was still not very time consuming. I used the recipe doubled and my family still ate all the cookies in 3 days! My kids love them!!!!
