The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
This is a perfect recipe for rolled Sugar Cookies for holiday Cookie Cutter cookies! The flavor and texture are great, really delicious, unlike some cookie-cutter cookies. And the recipe makes the perfect dough for rolling and cookie-cutter cutting. For me, the recipe made 75 medium size cut cookies - all the holiday shapes. They came out beautifully. Don't spread or lose shape. And again, great flavor. I also used the Sugar Cookie Icing recipe that matches/goes along with this cookie recipe, and it is also PERFECT. Good flavor, not overly sweet. Only adds to the quality of the cookie. Dries quickly. Perfect texture for icing the cookies accurately/carefully. If the icing thickened too much while I was icing so many cookies, with different colors, I added a little light clear corn syrup. Works beautifully. Thank you. This is my go to Sugar Cookie/Cookie-Cutter holiday cookie recipe from now on. Excellent!

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints
With this recipe, I've just discovered a new FAVORITE! These are so easy to make, it really surprises you at first! And they are fabulous. They taste like they came from the finest bakery. And they're very pretty. I used 100% natural, high quality, preserves: Cranberry Marmalade, English Apricot and Raspberry preserves. All were really delicious. I rolled the dough into the full recommended inch and a half balls. I used the class shaped/standard 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon to make my indentations for the jam. No spreading. No leaking. Just enough jam/preserves for great flavor and a beautiful cookie. And perfectly round even indentation. An incredible recipe and a hit with everyone. Rich buttery taste. Old fashioned. I will make time and again! Thank you.

Raspberry Pie II
I made this pie with fresh Raspberries from our garden. Followed the recipe exactly. The pie looked beautiful, smelled great, and I had high hopes for it. It was the first Raspberry pie I'd ever made. Unfortunately, was very disappointed. The flavors were very good - the Raspberries shown and it was just enough sweet/tart for us. But as some other bakers/reviewers have written, it was like soup! My husband was really looking forward to a piece of pie, and I, instead had to serve this in a bowl, and even then it didn't hold up as a cobbler might. It was just JUICE. Had to use a ladle to dish it up. Potentially really good recipe BUT ABSOLUTELY NEEDS MORE CORN STARCH!!! Very disappointing effort this holiday weekend.
