Homemade Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2011
Our family LOVES this soup. The only thing I do differently is fry the wontons in sesame oil for a few minutes before adding them to the broth - also I omit the shrimp. The wontons are a little time consuming but all other steps are very easy. :) Thank you for sharing...this is a new family favorite!

Death by Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
My family absolutely LOVED this recipe. It was pretty simple to make. I didn't have a double boiler or a food processor so I just used a regular saucepan over very low heat and it turned out great! This is definitely for special occasions only at our house...it is very rich but oh so delicious! ;)

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
At every special occasion, I always offer to bring these deviled eggs. They are sooo good! I do add extra bacon but that's the only change I make. I just made these for Thanksgiving and my grandfather who doesn't eat enough to keep a bird alive, ate 5 before dinner was even served. My whole family loves these!

Beefy Chinese Dumplings

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Very good recipe. My family loved them! Wrapping the dumplings does take some time so plan accordingly. We formed an "assembly line" The kids love to help out in the kitchen so they enjoyed wrapping the dumplings. Prepared them just as the recipe states and served w/ soy sauce. Delicious!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I hosted my first Thanksgiving Dinner this year and it was fantastic! I chose this recipe...seemed easy enough. It was delicious! I have never had turkey so juicy. I always thought I didn't really care for turkey it was always so bland. Brining is key! It is a bit of extra work but it is SO worth it! This will be my turkey recipe for many years to come!

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
My family and I LOVE this recipe! The only change I make, recommended by other reviewers, is adding a tbsp of cinnamon to the apples. Beautiful presentation and great taste every time!
