Chicken Fried Steak I

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
This was really good! Added salt, pepper, more garlic powder, onion powder, & paprika to the flour. Crushed up some saltines and used those as the final coating for extra crunchiness. Terrific!

Curried Red Snapper

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
This is my absolute FAVORITE fish recipe! I've made it with other fish also, tilapia, sole, and other white fishes. I was out of milk one of the times, so I used half & half, which made the sauce thicker, and in my opinion, better. Yum yum, thanks so much for sharing this one!

Really good, hubby had me make a second batch so i threw in a pinch of ginger & cinnamon, some coolwhip on top & a sprinkle of nutmeg, and it was even better.

Stuffed our fresh trout with the ingredients, except I omitted the sugar. Also forgot the ginger, bummer!

Man Pleasin' Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
Really good. I had 2 servings and my husband went back for thirds. Its great if you can't handle a lot of heat, but if you want it spicier just add more cayenne and some Cajun seasoning.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
Excellent sweet cornbread. I fake the buttermilk with regular milk and a splash of vinegar, then let it sour for 5 minutes before using.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2013
Yum! Didn't change a thing except only baked for 9 minutes. Keep the dough in the fridge in between batches and let the cookie sheets cool down before putting more dough in. Also don't flatten with the fork very much, just a tad. Beautiful tasty cookies!
