Arkansas Green Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
I loved these green beans! My roommate doesn't like green beans, but thought the sauce had an excellent flavor so I'm going to also use this sauce with sauteed asparagus.

Green Chili Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
This tasted ok, I think it needs some heat. Maybe I'll add some chopped pickled jalapenos with the green chilies next time.

Enchanted Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

This was easy to make, but lacked in flavor. Great base recipe that needs spiced up for me. Next time I will add cumin to the sour cream.

Cindy's Really Good Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
This is yummy. I didn't melt the cheese in the milk mixture, I just added it between the potato layers. I used a combination of sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese. It took an hour in the oven for me. Came out great!

I don't know why I've never thought of this before! I didn't have any problems with the peanut butter mixing in. This was very tasty.

Best Meatloaf in the Whole Wide World!

The pineapple topping was wonderful! I thought the meatloaf itself lacked flavor though. Next time I will use my usual meatloaf recipe with this recipe's topping.

Mashed Potatoes and Buttermilk

One of the best mashed potato recipes I have ever made!! The flavor is over-the-top with such few ingredients. I also added salt and pepper to suit my taste.

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This is amazing! I doubled the sauce as suggested by other reviewers and served it over pasta. I didn't have lemon pepper so I used lemon zest and pepper. So flavorful!!!

Carrot Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This recipe was wonderful! I used Splenda instead of sugar and I couldn't tell a difference. I changed the number of servings to 8 and it didn't effect anything. This is now my favorite frosting!!

These were not bad, just not worth five stars. I was expecting something more and they just tasted like peas.

Cranberry Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
Excellent flavor! I omitted the water, but still had plenty of liquid. This is my new go to recipe for pot roast. Next time I might use pearl onions because they will soak up the wonderful sauce.

Three Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I loved the flavor of this casserole. I thought the sauce was a little to thin, so next time I might cook it on the stove first to reduce and thicken it. I also thought the hot dogs overwhelmed the "bean casserole" so I will only use half a pound next time.

I ate this on my salad, but won't try again. I thought something was missing. I plan to use the leftover as a veggie dip.

Cheesy Chicken Poblano Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
I have made this as written but have since tweaked the recipe to suit me. Instead of using whole corn I like to use creamed corn. If the soup is too thin you can add refried bean, a few tablespoons at a time, until desired consistency. If I'm feeling lazy I just put everything in the crock pot in the morning and it's ready for dinner.
