I have cooked several Thanksgiving dinners by myself. I have cooked many large meals for big family reunions.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to list, most of them happened between the ages of 12 and 16. My famous cooking tragedy happened when I was five years old. I tried to make my mother breakfast in bed. I wanted to make her coffee, but was too little to operate the coffee maker let alone reach the water facet. I got the water for the coffee from the toilet, mixed in the coffee grounds. The look on her face was priceless.

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies
I reduced the temp to 350, they cooked in 10 min. I did not add more butter as previous commentators recommended. I added both butterscotch and chocolate chips. The cookies came out nice. The recipe worked well.

This was a great breakfast treat for the family. I used cottage cheese and dried cranberries. I had trouble dredging the cakes in flour before putting them in the skillet, eventually I got the hang of it. This dish is served best with berries and powdered sugar. My husband and kids put syrup on theirs, but I thought that made it too sweet.

Mayo-Free Tuna Sandwich Filling
Great alternative for mayonnaise. This was a healthy, light recipe.
