Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2012
This recipe is great, but only if you add more seasoning and moisture. I add onion, celery, white wine, chicken stock, and fresh herbs like thyme, sage, and oregano. The onion soup adds a depth of flavour, but alone, it doesn't create enough gravy for our liking! This makes the most amazing gravy, and by adding caramelized onions and mushrooms to the gravy you have a 5 star dish.

This was really good! My family loved it and we aren't big fish eaters. I will definitely use this again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
These were good cookies! I used less sugar and only had regular butter and they were delicious. My two year old helped me make them, they were that easy.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
These cookies were fabulous! It makes a big batch and I gave half away or I would've eaten them all myself! They got rave reviews from kids and adults alike. I followed a few adjustments... increased the flour and the soda and decreased the salt. Baked at 335 for 12 minutes and....fabulous!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
These were easy to make, turned out light, fluffy, and were simply great! I followed the original recipe...no changes. I can imagine that adding blueberries, or bananas, or watering the recipe down for thinner pancakes would be just as wonderful. Thank you!

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
I just took the first batch out of the oven, and they are fantastic! I don't know if you need the coffee...but a little coffee heightens the flavour of chocolate. I followed the recipe exactly, but only cooked it for 20 minutes. I oiled and floured the pan instead of muffin cups, and they are fantastic. Thanks for the recipe.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This was an easy and delicious choice that served 10 people easily for my daughter's birthday party. I added dark beer, Lipton onion soup mix, beef broth, garlic, worchestershire, and pepper. It was PERFECT and I had NO left overs! I needed a little more au jus as we ran out, but that's only because everyone just gobbled it down. Thanks!

Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
These weren't as succulent or moist as I've had in the past. I think they needed to be in the oven longer. The sauce has fantastic flavour though.

Naan

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
It wasn't a very authentic naan... I'll have to try the bbq. It was a bit too heavy for me.

I too, changed the amount of butter by half, and may cut it further when I make it again, but it was FANTASTIC! A big hit. Thanks.

Barbequed Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2004
GREAT marinade... needed to be left to marinade even longer. I had a massive flank steak, and there wasn't a single piece left over. Thank you.

Fabulous recipe. I was pleasantly surprised with the sophisticated taste, and nice blend of two of my favourite foods. I will make this again and again. So easy!
