Tomato-Basil Zucchini

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2010
This is great! I had some tomato bisque with spinach left over so i used it instead of the plain tomato soup. Other than that minor change I used the recipe to a T. My husband loved it!!!!

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
I added cauliflower to the recipe and it was great!!! I did not use sea salt I used 1/2 t seasoned salt instead. I also added dill and thyme 1/4 t of each and the kids were asking for more! You can replace the oil with butter if you like.

Deep Fried Pork Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This was very good! My sons who never eat anything ate this down and then asked for more. Not something that I will serve often just because it is so not good for you but is one for when the kids are at grandma's.

Robust Garlic Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
THIS WAS AWESOME!!!! My hubby is not a big fan of chicken especially baked but he loved this recipe. I also added more of my favorite seasonings such as thyme, lemon peper, a little seasoned salt, and some oregano. I took a baby medicine droper (new of course) and sucked up the pan drippings and injected the chicken with them under the skin and in the cavity about every 20 minutes. The chicken was very tender and juicy!!! I will defiantly do this again.

Oven Brown Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
If you are using instant brown rice put 2 cups instead of one! I also added about 1/8 c of vegetable oil in the rice to keep it from sticking to the pan. I also covered the pan with tin foil. It was a little tough with out the tin foil.

Mediterranean Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
I modified the recipe just a little due to other reviews. I roasted minced garlic with diced red and green peppers in 1T of butter. I added that to the cream cheese mixture. I also added dill, freshly ground pepper, and shreded parmesan to the top of the chicken prior to baking. Next time I will wrap the chicken in bacon and bake.

Tamale Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
I modified this recipe a bit just because I didn't want to go to the store. I used a green and yellow peppers instead of the jalapeno, can of corn instead of frozen. box of cornbread mix instead of cornmeal, and 1 whole egg. It was pretty good I think I would have liked to have it thicker.

Amish Yumazuti

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
The first time I made it I used the exactly recipe. The next time we had it I used two cans of cream of mushrooms soup instead of cream of chicken and added some mushrooms, green, yellow, and red peppers. I also drained the tomatoes Half! My husband likes food thicker. My kids, husband, and grandparents love this recipe. For more spice add diced tomatoes with green chillies.
