My Chili
This recipe drew me in because it was supposed to be easy and quick. After reading the reviews I figured that that I might be doing myself a favor by tweaking some of the recipe details a bit. I added a green and red bell pepper; kept the seeds. I also fried some smoked bacon and chopped that into the recipe as well. I added two types of beans; chili and kidney. I also used two cans of diced tomatoes and 2 can of the rotille (sp?) tomatoes with peppers. I started by sauteing the onions and peppers with salt; I then added the beef which I also seasoned. I know it doesn't sound like it but other than that I kept the recipe the same except that I added a ton more chili powder and about a tablespoon of cumin and doubled the oregano and added about a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. I also added a can of corn to the recipe! After that it was all the same :) And it was delicious!

Perfect Turkey
Like every other family that has had this turkey, mine was in love as well. The brining process was something that I'd never done before so I was a little hesitant to try it. However I am so glad I that I did because my family all agreed that it was 'the best thing on the table'! The only negative thing I heard was that the turkey was too small! Definitely adding this recipe to the artillery.
