These were pretty good pretzles. I used about 4 cups of flour to begin with and added little by little more to the consistency of my liking. I baked for less than the 8 min otherwise they would have gotten burnt. I coated some with kosker salt, some cinnamon and sugar, but the best were the ones I put jalapenos and jack cheese on. The cheese didn't burn and they were this perfect chewy softness. Only con about these was that bottoms stuck to pan a wee bit, but not burnt... just really browned due to the baking soda and hot water solution.
