Cherry Pineapple Cabana Dump Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
I read all the reviews prior to making. So basically use 2 cans of pineapple, and half the amount of butter is all that is necessary. I used butter cake mix because it was all I could find in a hurry at the store - honestly I am betting it made this stuff even better! Delicious! And this whole thing literally took 3 minutes to put together. I will make again but next time with less coconut, I could barely tell there was cake underneath all that coconut (I used a whole package). Will update when I try again.

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

It's ok. the idea of mayo being in a dip kinda freaks me out, so i omitted it the second time around...not much flavor

Cranberry Delight

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
Delicious! I was surprised at how easy it is to make and how the simple ingredients compliment each other. It tastes almost like a cranberry cheesecake but with significantly less work. I did not have graham crackers so I used some oats, brown sugar, butter, and flour for a simple crust. I also omitted the orange marmalade because that is not something I just have in my pantry. I will make this again and again, could probably use canned cranberries if you have some left over, but it would not be as fresh tasting. Wonderful!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Great for a dumpling, a little soggy on the bottom for my taste but everyone else who ate them (and they ate ALL of them) raved over this recipe. Thank you for the admission and I love how simple and easy it is to make!

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
If I could rate them 6 stars I would. Don't change a thing. These muffins are like BOOM! Amazing. They do compliment the apple flavor perfectly without being too sweet or bland. I doubled the batch to give away to some friends. This kept me from having to make breakfast for my husband a couple days, and these muffins make a perfect mid-day snack when warmed up for 15 seconds in the microwave.

Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I omitted the shrimp and opted for ground beef as well as baked them instead of frying them. I am going to use no meat next time and just do a vegetarian version. And I am usually one for the healthier version but they just don't taste the same so I will also be frying the rolls the next time. I used egg roll wrappers instead of wonton, and the sizing was perfect it yielded 12.

Crab Rangoon III

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I baked instead of frying, but I wouldn't recommend that.. Next time i will deep fry like the instructions. I also omitted the water chestnuts. The filling was ok, but next time I would add about a quarter cup of sugar just to stabilize the flavors. I only used one can of white crab meat and did not notice the "crab taste". Not bad for homemade version

Sour Cream Apple Pie Deluxe

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
The pie was decent but I honestly don't see how it is prize winning. Flavor was quite bland and the texture was just as dull. Not terrible though. I would recommend just making regular apple pie or my personal favorite Grandme's Apple Crisp.

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

DON'T add onions! it overpowers the dish and makes everything taste the same. The idea was good, just needs some tweaking like more spices and cheese and less onion.

Strawberry Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
Just like everyone says- it's moist and SO DELICIOUS! I love to bake so I tend to be critical of cakes and pies, but this one surprised me. The ingredients are simple but the result is amazing. My husband even asked "is this made from scratch?" because it's that unbelievable. I didn't change anything in the recipe except to double it and instead of trying to cut in hard butter to the topping I melted that as well- it's so much easier and the result is the same. Bon Appetite!

Ultimate Cheesy Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
This recipe is very easy to make but others will think you took hours! the chicken turns out very tender, and be sure to cook until the bacon is crispy. The cheese and garlic compliment perfectly the salty bacon.

Chex® Muddy Buddies® -- Gluten Free!

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
Delicious and easy to make! One tip about serving it is to use plastic party cups normally for drinks for your guests to put the muddy buddies in! they slide around on plates and are too messy to hold in your hand. Instant classic!
