Sara's Soy Marinated and Cream Cheese-Stuffed Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2012
delicious! I deboned and skinned salmon steaks, spread cream cheese on one side, rolled them, and secured with toothpicks. The deboning is a lot of work, but worth it - a great special occasion meal. Baked 10 minutes then put a drizzle of teriyaki sauce on top and baked 10 minutes more.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
fantastic! I used spinach and it was just fine. I also used run-of-the-mill powdered chicken bouillon instead of broth and it was just fine. I served this to guests and they loved it, everyone had two bowls full!

Quick Gnocchi

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2011
So good, and so easy! Be sure to roll the gnocchi thin. I added seasonings to the dough, and served the gnocchi w/ sage brown butter. The best thing you can possibly do with instant mashed potatoes :)

delicious, and unique -- I used a can of chickpeas, much easier, and added cumin and paprika, as well as more of every spice. great with pita or crackers!

Spicy Eggplant

tasty! to make it easier, you can just cook the onion and the eggplant in the same pan, then add the sauce ingredients and stir it all together.

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Fantastic! I made it with half an onion and a large diced fresh tomato. I used whole milk instead of cream, and added some tomato paste for a thicker texture. The key is to puree it -- I used an immersion blender. Great as a sauce, and good enough on its own that I plan to eat it as soup tomorrow!

fantastic sauce! but I added a lot more peanut butter. Threw a bit of sesame oil into the sauce and skipped the sesame seeds. delicious!

Asian Coleslaw

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
this was great! I halved the recipe for the dressing and added it to a bag of simple pre-shredded cole slaw (just cabbage and carrot), yet it was just delicious! I can't believe how good it tastes for how little work I put into it. Thanks!

Restaurant-Style Taco Meat Seasoning

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
Fantastic! All of the seasonings really elevated the simple homemade taco to something special. And it does taste just like a restaurant! I made it with ground turkey and dissolved the beef bouillon cube in the water. 1 cup is a bit too much water, though--2/3 or even 1/2 would have been fine.
