About this Cook
I was one of those Home Ec students the teacher couldn't get rid of--I took every class offered and then became the teacher's aide. As a full-time student and employee, cooking is my creative outlet. Right now there is not time for other endeavors and hey, we've got to eat anyway so it might as well be homemade. I love cooking for my family, especially when our toddler grandson helps! Looking forward to graduation when I can can cook for them more often. Yes, the weekly family suppers will return!

Easy Chicken Fajita Soup
Thanks Gweb2! This is a keeper--next time I will wear gloves when slicing the pablano pepper. (typed with one hand soaking in milk!)

Raisin Sauce for Ham II
Loved this recipe! NOTE: Read reviews before cooking-- I had to store in a crock pot to prevent lumps because I made it too early. If I had known it would be so easy make, I'd have started it just before I put the rolls in the oven.

Kickin Stuffed Peppers
Loved this recipe! WISH I read the review about using gloves when removing the seed! DH would not buy all the peppers required, saying try 1/2 a batch first, picking my battles--I agreed. The guys at work liked them so well they went to the store and bought the additional peppers to make the rest of the recipe! I've given copies of the recipe to everyone who ate them, with a warning to use gloves while removing the seeds from the peppers. Soaking my fingers in alcohol is helping relieve the burn.
