Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
Just made this dough and I am impressed. Easy and baked up great. I did let it rest while preparing the toppings, so it was closer to 15 minutes. After shaping I prebaked the crust for 10 minutes then added the sauce and toppings and baked for about 7 minutes more, crispy and very tasty. Thanks for sharing.

Panna Cotta

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2013
I made this for company the other night. The only change I made was to use all fat free half and half. Oh, I used my own homemade vanilla and the flecks of vanilla bean made this dessert look spectacular. I topped it with a fanned out fresh strawberry. Amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
I changed the recipe just a bit. I did not use beer. I sliced up a sweet onion and crushed 2 cloves of garlic and added to the slow cooker. I then put the corned beef round in and covered with the water. I put a heaping Tablespoon of good pickling spice in a coffee filter and tied it with string. I added it to the pot and put the cover on and cooked on high for 6 hours. When done I drained the broth off into a large pot and cooked the potatoes, carrots and cabbage. I covered the corned beef and kept warm until the veggies were done. Sheer perfection. Thanks for sharing.

The only change I made when I made this bread was to use bread flour. No extra flour or water is needed. I have made this bread numerous times. The recipe is perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
I did use brown sugar to replace the artificial sweetner. The sauce is perfect. I used it on chicken legs and on long grain rice. I will make this over and over again. Thanks for sharing.

Honey Sourdough

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2013
I made this recipe today. I used the dough cycle and then shaped the dough into 2 smaller loaves. The only changes I made to the recipe were that I used 1/4 cup of honey and a scant teaspoon of sea salt. This recipe baked up beautifully. The best sourdough bread recipe I have tried. Thanks for sharing.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2013
I made this smoothie exactly as written for lunch today. My husband and I both liked it. There was no tell tale taste of the oats. The smoothness was perfect. It could have been a bit sweeter for us, but that is an easy fix. Thanks for sharing.

Aunt Anne's Sesame Cookies

Wonderful cookies. I made 2 batches with a few minor changes. I added pure vanilla instead of anise flavoring. I used a size 70 scoop and shaped into balls. I then rolled in the sesame seeds w/o the milk. Thanks for sharing.

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
I made the original recipe and although it is good, I made a few changes. I use 1/4 cup of honey to replace the sugar. I use 1 1/2 TBS canola oil to replace the margarine and I add 1/4 cup of vital wheat gluten. I use the dough cycle and shape and let rise in a 9x5 loaf pan and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2012
Disappointing recipe. The dough looked perfect, until I shaped the loaves. Did not raise very well and the taste was not to my liking. The texture was course and not appealing.

Sweet Sourdough Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2012
I just made a batch of these and they came out pillowy soft with a slightly crisp bottom. The only thing I did differently was to add 1/2 a teaspoon of ground nutmeg. I also used a #50 scoop, which gave me 36 cookies. Very plain tasting cookie. I topped with a simple vanilla butter cream icing and that made the cookie much better. I will bake again. Thanks for sharing.

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
Excellant cookie. I made them with craisins & white chocolate chips. Easy to make and chilling them a bit before baking helps them to keep their shape. I used a regular ice cream scoop sized disher because we like larger cookies. I got 25 cookies. YUMMY! Thanks for sharing.
