About this Cook
I am from Wisconsin. I have 3 kids and 3 grandkids. I own a daycare business that I have been running from my home for the past 13+ years. Between my family and the daycare, I cook about 6 times a day. I am always looking for new and easy recipes to feed a crowd and those that I can put in a slowcooker.

Classic Hash Browns
This is how I always make mine. Simple, with no egg, flour, etc. The only difference is I make separate "patties" or layer the bottom of the whole pan and when crispy on the bottom, I flip them. Crispy on outside and soft on the inside. My family loves them. You can add other things like bacon, onion, etc to your own liking. The key is do not turn them until crispy. Be patient while they brown.

Beer Dip I
Excellent recipe! Great with crackers and pretzels. It is thicker, so if you want it smoother, add a bit more beer. I think adding green onions would be great. I actually got this recipe from Hilltop Tavern. They have it on their salad bar and served with crackers, pretzels and bread. Yummy!!!
