Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
This is really yummy! A fair amount of work but the burrito filling has a wonderfully complex taste! I went a little short on the cheddar cheese and that was a mistake! The cheese really sets this off! I use part kidney beans and part black beans!

Chicken with Tomatillos and Poblanos

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
Very flavorful and healthy!!! My husband even loved it and he is not a big fan of peppers. This is definitely not very spicy. I used dried green onions. I also broiled the veggies in step one for 7-10 mins instead of baking which takes longer. This recipe still takes about 1.5 hrs...but it is worth it!!!! Use a large sauce pan for step two...no way a medium saucepan would have held all of my veggies. Delicious! I served this over brown rice.

Pepperoni Stuffed Zucchini

I also altered this dish.... I followed the directions to hollow out the zuchini and placed the halve on a plate, sealted them all together with plastic wrap and basically steamed them for 2 mins. Then I put a little of the scrapings back in, used salt, pepper, and garlic salt of the zuchini. Then for the toppins I a layer of sun dried tomato pesto sauce, toped with mozzarella, pepperoni, mushrooms, onion flakes an parmesan

Greek Lamb-Feta Burgers With Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
If you love ordering gyros.... then u will love being able to make these in your home! This is delicious and really tastes like an authentic gyro! One of the best things I have made from the website! I will def be making this frequently! Easy! I did not form patties, I allowed the meat to be loose and it was still great! Sauce was fresh and wonderful.... but alot of it went to waste... I would have been better off to half the sauce recipe.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
I really enjoyed this recipe! But..maybe it was because I used bone-in chops but the bake time was way too long! After only 50 mins in the oven my chops were already over done I would say bake on 350 for 45 mins and add sauce for an addition 10 mins. So a total bake time of 55 mins. I also sauteed some onion slices, quartered mushrooms, and 2 cloves of garlic in 2 tbls butter and a splash of white wine during the first baking session and then added this to my sauce! The addition really dressed this recipe up!!:) Very moist and flavorful!

Chicken Gruyere with Sauteed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
I loved this recipe! I made it exactly as directed except for substituting basil in for dill, because I did not have any dill on hand. I also used dried parsley instead of fresh. I thought that this recipe came out great, it was better than eating out in my opinion! My only concern was that this took about 35 minutes to prep. all ingredients and then around 12 minutes to brown the chicken and then 30 minutes of baking. I will be making this again!

Totally Groovy Chocolate Fondue

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
This had a great flavor and it was easy to make! My only thought was that you really had to keep stiring this dip to keep it from hardening. I did not use the brandy because I did not have any on hand, instead I followed the recipe exactly and added an additional 2 tbsp of the heavy cream to make up for the brandy that was left out. I will definitely make this again! I served this with strawberries, pretzels, and marshmellows.

This was my first time making fondue and this recipe was easy and sooooo perfect! I did add about a tsp of lemon juice like someone else had suggested and it was very smooth! I will look no further... this was great! I served this with french bread, mushrooms, broccoli, and shrimp.
