And I LOVE to cook!!!!!!!! I grill for the family in the summer months, in the kitchen in the colder months Mexican and French influences are on the stove! Growing up in the Adirondacks, grilled meats, stews, and fresh fish were what I grew up on! My Dad was an amazing fresh game cook, I try to incorporate some of his techniques, along with a friend who opened a French restaurant who taught me the basics. People seem to love the Mexican dishes I learned to cook in San Diego/El Cajon, the grill gets kudos in the summertime, and EVERYBODY loves Grandma's Adirondack Apple Pie! So many to choose from, so little time! ; >) I once torched a marinated lamb dish on the grill when I got a little carried away with the olive oil thing! It looked like a signal beacon for passing NASA flights!
