Mulled Cranberry Cider

I usually mull wine for the holidays but I was pregnant and couldn't drink, so I tried this instead. It is very tasty and was a big hit at my office Christmas party. I added honey to taste and probably ended up with a little less than the recipe calls for. Afterward I put the leftovers back into the juice bottle and heated it up in mugs later.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

The crescent roll dough gives this "cheesecake" a fantastically flaky crust. Per another reviewer's suggestion I tried this with cherry pie filling but definitely think it is better as a stand alone. Make it exactly as written and it is delicious.

Pretty Chicken Marinade

The chicken came out moist and perfect. The liquid smoke and mustard are the key to this marinade.

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Wine Fondue

This is an excellent fondue for a main course and much healthier than oil. I left the spices in and had no problems. We also added more wine after the first round had cooked down and we were still eating - works just fine. My favorites for this are scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, zucchini, chicken and potatoes (in that order). The seafood is amazing!

Cheese Fondue with a Twist

Delicious and easy! I have made it twice now and only made one change the second time which was to add the cornstarch and spices before the cheese - the cheese went in last. This definitely made it less clumpy.

Hearty Halibut Chowder

This was good but not amazing. It was easy to make and everyone enjoyed it. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't feel like a chowder to me, more of a chunky soup. If I make it again I will follow some of the reviewers suggestions and thicken it with cornstarch.
