Chicken Broccoli Ca - Unieng's Style

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
This was the easiest and best recipe for Chicken and Broccoli I have ever had. I, too, found the bok choy unnecessary, but added mushrooms. I doubled the sauce, but added 2 T. of hoisin sauce, 2T. of rice wine vinegar, and 1T of orange juice concentrate (just b/c I was making OJ for the kids). Adding these few things took the fishy taste, mentioned by some viewers, away. It was just what I was hungry for and even better the next day. May try it with steak next time, just to see. Definitely a keeper and my all time "go-to" recipe.

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2010
This is absolutely the best chicken I have ever eaten. I started with 3 frozen chicken breast, mixed the ingredients together in a gallon ziploc, rinsed the ice off of the chicken breast, added them to the ziploc and massaged marinade into the chicken. I marinated for about 6 hours. Before I grilled them, I wiped the breasts off as i was pulling them out of the ziploc (B/C of the reviews of burning marinade) then lightly sprinkled with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, and put on the grill (325 degrees) I ran out of gas after 10 mins. (I KNOW, HUH?) I put them in the oven and finished them on a broiler pan for about 15-20 mins. (still at 325-350 degrees) Anyway, I left the judging to my picky 6 yr. old son and my (just recently picky) 10 yr. old daughter. She finished her plate of a chicken breast, saffron rice (aka banana rice) and green beans, in just under 5 mins. My son (a chew 32x per bite) did it in 10!!! So, to all you Moms looking for the PERFECT chicken recipe, this is it! This will be added to my weekly rotation.

Best Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
I loved this soup. My friends call me the soup natzi. I did add 2 cubed potatos,1 and 1/2t. of garlic powder,1/2t. Tony's, and 1c. of vegetable stock (b/c of the potatos). That's it. It came out perfect. Creamy and delicious, just like I like it
