Savory Bubble Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
The dough turned out perfect - so fluffy and light! The spices seemed a little too strong, so in the second batch I rolled them less in it and added garlic salt on top. Everybody enjoyed them!

Ghirardelli® Hot Fudge Sauce

Might be nice to add cocoa powder to get the full rich effect. Worked well for our waffle and pancake topping!

Strawberry Pie Filling

I didn't strain the juice, because I was making it for a waffle topping - and it worked wonderfully!

Very nice! A great, quick backup when I realized we'd run out of pancake mix!

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: May 30, 2012
Wonderful! Followed the reviews that said to change the sugar to 1 cup brown sugar, use self-rising flour instead of all-purpose, double the vanilla, and cut the salt. Also cooked it for 40 minutes at 345 or so, and turned out great!

Chocolate Chip Peppermint Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
Wonderful! I followed the suggestions and increased the flour to 1 3/4 cup and decreased the baking time to 9 minutes. The family loved them and several people asked for the recipe!

Blackberry Pie I

Kind of runny, needs to be thickened. Tasted just fine, though. A tad sweet.

Coffee Lover's Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Great! To cut the coffee taste a little, we added two hot chocolate packets - yummy!!! When I do it again, I will probably let it get colder than room temperature before I add the whipped cream. This way the whipped cream will stay stiff longer. Very rich and very good!

Frozen Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
Yummy pie! Will definetly make again! Added more cocoa powder than called for, loved it! Next time I think I'll make it with an Oreo crust; not a big fan of the normal kind. Would be even better if topped with whipped cream and dark chocolate syrup! Thanks for the great recipe!

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
I decided to rate it 5 even though I changed the recipe somewhat. I used biscut dough from a recipe off the back of the self-rising flour bag *yum*, and added some blackberry preserves. We downed it quickly!

Maple Walnut Scones

I've never had a scone before, so I'm not sure how to rate them. But, my whole fam enjoyed them and they made a great breakfast! Thanks for the recipe!

Fudgy Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
Yummy muffins the family loved! I added some flax seed for extra fiber, but made the rest of the recipe as called for! The batter tasted better than the muffins, though, so maybe even more cocoa powder? Still, very yummy.

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Excellent! These were awesome! One of the best cookies I have ever had in my life! Maybe they could've been a tincy bit less sweet? But that besides, these were great, and got snapped up. (people were grabbing four at a time and walking away with them)

Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
This made less than what I was expecting. Did anyone else experience this? It tasted great, altough it might could've used more chocolate somewhere (coming from a chocolate fan) It was a little drier than I expected, but this was probably because I over baked it a little. Thanks for the recipe! :)

Fudge-Bottom Candy Crunch Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
This recipe was pretty good; however, I have had better. If I was to make it again, which I probably will, I would mix more chocolate with the first layer, and leave less to be drizzled on top. Also, to add just two teaspoons salt would definetly improve the taste and bring up the rating. The toffee was the pie's saving grace. I would encourage you to try it for yourself!

French Baguettes

Fabulous! They were best when they came straight from the oven, but when you re-heat them in the oven again, yyuuummm! I made different shapes with them, including braids, twists, and cloverleaf rolls. Will definetly make again!

Chocolate Chip Sourdough Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
As suggested, I used 2 tsp of baking soda and 3/4 cup of sugar. I put a tsp of honey in it and used less chocolate chips. I had no problem with them rising, and they are just the normal density of any muffin, however I also had a little trouble with them sticking to the paper wrappers. Oh well. They taste pretty good, and I'd suggest giving the recipe a try.

Oat Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Yummy. Everyone loved them. Added 1 tsp of ground cinnamon, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and almost 1 tsp of salt. Also added 1 tsp of vinegar to the plain milk. Another addition I put in was about 1/2 cup of raisens and 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chipss! They were excellent! Didn't have applesauce on hand, so I put in roughly 1/3 cup apple juice and 1/4 cup of flax seed. Very healthy! Thanks for the yummy breakfast muffins!
