Similarly to other reviewers, I found that filling 2/3 of the muffin cups with batter rather than to the top is sufficient. Also, my batch made 10 muffins rather than 6. When I made them, I completely forgot about making the crumb topping, but the muffins still came out delicious and my family loved them!
