Buttermilk Pancakes II

I followed the recipe exactly, except scaled down to 2/3. They came out sort of mushy/soggy and not too tasty at all. I prefer a fluffy pancake that is crispy on the outside.

Beer Cake II

This was just ok. It nearly overflowed the pan and the flavors of cake and beer, delish as they both are, just don't go together for me. The beer did make it very light and fluffy, though.
