Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
I modified this recipe by adding more tomato and vegetables,as well as paprika and a pinch of spicy blend Northwoods Fire from Penzeys. So good with the "French Bread Rolls to Die For". Enjoyed by all.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
I'm on my third time making these simple and delicious rolls. Simple and fun to make...they add a special touch to almost any dinner, and are so good the next morning with butter and honey or real maple syrup. I can't applaud this recipe enough!

Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
I took other's suggestions that I use brown sugar instead of white, and used the scrumptious thigh instead of the breasts. Decadent and so tasty!!

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
I used this sauce to top home made cheesecake with our hand picked huckleberries and it turned out great! Instead of OJ, I used a heaping tablespoon of peach juice concentrate and added just a little more water. It was so scrumptious, and makes a lot of sauce.

Pumpkin Pancakes with Nutmeg Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
Anything that yields comments like "You're the best mom ever" is a keeper. YUM! I used pumpkin pie spice instead of the separate ones and these turned out great! Don't skip the nutmeg whipped cream, it really is the perfect topping for these delicious pancakes.

The Best Thai Coconut Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
No leftovers = fantastic recipe! I accidentally got two cans of coconut milk instead of three so substituted one can of whole cow milk and I have to say I think it was good that I did because the coconut milk was so rich even with just two cans that it may have been overwhelming if there had been three. I added quite a bit of extra curry as well as mixing green onions with the cilantro for a garnish. It was so good! Thanks for the great recipe.
