Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2004
This trifle got rave reviews at a family gathering - all ages loved it. I will add a tiny bit more milk next time.

Terrific texture to the cream sauce. Would prefer less sweet - perhaps omit the sugar?

Southern Living magazine's Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2003
Terrific - My Christmas brunch guests just loved this and asked me for the recipe. Can also substitue mixed cheeses or types of sausage - I made more than one variety this way and folks loved them all - but the regular pork sausage was best.

Sugar Cookies IX

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
This is a quick cookie recipe with simple ingredients that tastes as good as more complicated cookie recipes. These can be baked as drop cookies and we then decorated them for Christmas! After my daughter informed me (the day before it was due) that she was to bring Christmas cookies to school for class credit, I quickly found this recipe online! We had the ingredients we needed, she got a quick baking lesson and the cookies were delicious! It was hard to resist eating them ourselves (after sampling the batch) and at school the kids polished them off in seconds!

This very easy recipe is a pleasant surprise! I served it at a church luncheon and received wonderful comments. Kids like them, too!

Bierock Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2001
We tried this recipe because we wanted an easy main dish casserole for dinner. This was perfect! It has very good flavor and our kids (ages 14, 11, and 2 1/2) liked it alot, even though they won't normally eat sauerkraut (we didn't tell them it had sauerkraut in it until after they tried it and asked). The toddler ate all of his and the two older kids both asked for seconds! Good choice.

Chicken Pasta Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2001
I doubled this recipe and served it for a meeting and also the family at home. Everyone enjoyed it and the kids liked the all the color created by the cheese, olives, green peppers, and corn. I didn't use the chicken broth - but I would recommend it for the boost of added flavor. Laura C.
