Pea Salad

Good basic recipe, and you can add diced turkey breast or ham to the mix as well.

Stuffed Olives

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
Have made these since the early 70's, but it is getting harder to locate the jumbo olives. I use some lemon juice and mashed salad shrimp added to the cream cheese, and topped with a sprinkle of smoked paprika!

Great, and even greater with 4 slices of crisply fried or nuked smokey bacon, crumbled, 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar, and a tablespoon of fresh snipped chives.

Mom's Italian Beef Barley Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2014
Need about 8 cups of water or 4 cups beef broth and 4 cups water, and at least 3 carrots chopped to 1/4 inch dice. Also a couple teaspoons of worcestershire sauce is amenable! Also would add a cup of celery, chopped, or a 1/2 teaspoon celery salt.

Raspberry and Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2014
Tried it, and was wondering what to do with the 1/4 boiling water listed in the topping ingredients? With no one to ask, I processed the dry ingredients and butter in my food processor, and then poured in the 1/4 cup boiling water gradually. It lumped, and then after proceeding with the berry filling mixture, I placed spoonfuls of the "dough" on top, and baked it. Turned out fine, so I must have done the correct thing.
