Good starting point but i agree with other reviewers-needs more spices! I added 1 TB of Italian spice and 1 C fresh parmesan. Much better and kids love it.

Yum! I only used 1/2 the butter and a sprinkle of cheese and it was amazing. Reminds me of the veggies at Outback.....

Carrot Dill Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
Great soup! I left out the milk and added more broth. I also threw in a handful of quinoa during the simmer stage to give the soup "body." A big hit with the whole family.

Blueberry, Banana, and Peanut Butter Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
Delicious, filling, and a big hit with the kids. I use blueberry yogurt and omit the the honey. Another great tip is to use frozen bananas. I take my ripe bananas (peeled and broken into chunks)and throw them in a ziplock in the freezer. This makes my morning even easier!

My kids love this( following the recipe exactly). Yes, some adults might find it a bit bland, but if you use extra sharp cheddar and your favorite spices it can be a hit!

Torsk

My kids loved this fish. I followed the first step exactly, but I did not broil. I put it in a grill basket on the grill for 2-3 minutes each side. Don't forget to rebrush it with butter before serving.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
Wonderful soup! I took other reviewers advice and substituted a can of Rotel for the can of whole peeled tomatoes. If you like spicy, I suggest you do this! I also did not add the sour cream as I knew I would be freezing a good portion of this recipe. I only had 5 breasts on hand, and it was more than enough chicken! Enjoy! A keeper!!!

Nice for winter. I used turkey bacon in place of the kielbasa, and 3 cups of broth/3 cups of water. I also substituted orzo for the rice. Big hit with the kids-even with the spinach in it!
