Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

Made as recipe called and put into tortillas with some cheese. Topped with an enchilada sauce and baked in the oven. Topped with a little sour cream and salsa to eat. So good! Wouldn't change a thing.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

I cut the beef in half like other suggestions. We like lots of sauce so I made 1 1/2 times what the recipe suggested for 2 lbs. of meat. Was a good amount to coat everything and soak into the jasmine rice I served it on. I used a red pepper cause we don't like green and added some onion. Dice the carrots small so they cook through. The meatballs were very tasty. Loved the sauce. Would use this sauce again maybe with pork or chicken too.

Chicken Milano

Awesome!! Was definitely restaurant quality like others said. Did use more garlic - 4 cloves - because we love garlic. Also, used half and half instead of the heavy cream and vegetable broth because I didn't have any chicken broth.

Chicken Broth in a Slow Cooker

I have never made my own chicken broth! It was so good. Used it in another recipe on this site for chicken noodle soup. My husband can't have any chicken unless it is completely hormone and antibioty free (allergies) - we use Gerber's. He said this is the first time he had chicken soup in like 27 years! Loved it.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Root Beer....who would have thought. It was really good though. I used a pork butt and followed some other suggestions of spices. We like lots of onion and garlic so I rubbed the roast down with garlic and onion powder, black pepper and sea salt. I used K-C masterpice bar-b-que and it was great!

Prairie Meat Loaf

Little too moist, Kind of fell apart. Would scale back the broth to prevent that and needed some more seasonings.....kind of bland. Didn't really notice the cheese either. Cut the recipe in half and it still made 2 small loaves. Liked the idea of using oatmeal so would try again.

Lime Cilantro Rice

Followed some other suggestions and cut back on the cilantro....good idea. Found the lime zest to be not really needed. Just used a little more lime juice to taste. Went well with the spicy garlic lime chicken recipe on the site.

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Really Good! The store I shop at was out of chicken breasts that I buy so I got thighs and removed the skin and put in skillet with the seasoning a few minutes on each side. Then put in a casserole dish and poured the lime juice and garlic mixture over the top of each and baked. Moist, yummy, flavorful chicken!

Honeyed Pork Chops

Very good. Covered in foil for first 30 minutes and uncovered for last 30 minutes. Next time I might thicken the sauce a bit, but it was still really good over the prok chops and rice I made with it. I added garlic like some suggested and a little extra honey. Saw someone mentioned sesame greeen beans as a side dish. To save time I used Green Giant's frozen ones with the almonds. Perfect side and the sauce tasted good on those too!

Greek Penne and Chicken

Great....my 9 year old loved it and even ate the artichokes without noticing them. I used the marinated ones like people suggested and also added some heavy cream at the end. Didn't really notice the fresh parsley so probably would just toss some dried in next time for color to avoid chopping that. Cooked the chicken with the onion and added the garlic to that when the chicken was done.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Good soup, but not great. Wish I would have cooked the meat with the seasoning and maybe even tried the ranch I noticed some added. Added a little hot sauce which helped as I was eating it. Will try again, but maybe use beef broth in place of water and add a few more seasonings.

Holly's Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Very good! My son asked if he would Chicken Cordon Bleu since he never had it. After one bite he was hooked! Skipped the mushrooms. Large recipe so I scaled most of it back and used a smaller dish. I did make almost all of the topping/bottom layer. It was good and crispy on both the top and the bottom. Used fresh chicken breats that I cubed and cooked in a skillet first with a little olive oil and garlic.

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Everyone in my family loved it! Go easy on the black pepper though. 1 T is too much. Did not use the chicken bullion. Added some extra garlic and onion flakes. Used about a cup of vegetable stock in the crock-pot and then thickened up the gravy after. Went on low for about 9 hours. I cooked the frozen veges first and then just added them. Served over buttermilk biscuits.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Awesome!! Just picked wild blueberries and was looking for a muffin recipe. I did use the vanilla a few other users mentioned. Figured can't hurt. Did double and fill the cups so it took about 5 minutes longer to cook than the recipe called for. Topping was really a good addition too!!

Cheesy Rice 'n Tomatoes

Loved it. I didn't have any broth at home so I used the water required to make the rice (which was regular brown rice so it took longer) and threw in some Garlic Basil seasoning I have from Home-Made Gourmet. Perfect side dish!!
