Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

This is one of my favorite chicken recipes. It is easy and very flavorful. I don't think it would be quite as nice if you made it with regular milk and flour or corn starch as other readers have done. Then it becomes gravy rather than sauce?

Pumpkin Gingerbread

This was very good! It made 2 large loaves and I froze one of them. After thawing, it seemed as fresh and moist as it had been the day I baked it. I might try to add seeds next time. Delish!

Thyme Green Beans with Almonds

Fast and Delicious Black Bean Soup

This recipe is very good just as it was written and I am rating it as such. I do variations for a vegetarian soup by leaving out meat, adding carrots, celery and more (vegetable) broth and cumin. I reserve half a can of beans and I blend it all together after cooking. Then I return it to the pot to reheat and then add the remainder of the beans and throw in some frozen corn.

Good recipe, but I agree with the others that, depending on the size of the asparagus, that it seemed better to bacon wrap at least 2 spears each instead of one.

These were delicious. I would also suggest that for easier handling that you cut the whole pita in half and brush with the oil mixture before cutting into wedges.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

I wouldn't say this is better than my grandma's chicken and dumplings, but it was perfect for a quick meal on the stove as well as a convenient one in a slow cooker. I didn't change a thing (except to add some seasoning to taste.)

This makes such a beautiful chocolate icing! I find that it does indeed give my cakes a more creative, decorative look. If you are making a bundt cake, I would advise cutting the recipe in half, as it makes a LOT!
