I have made this twice now and my family LOVES it. I seasoned chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I quadrupled the sauce ingredients, but not the butter, and cooked the chops with Pam instead of veg oil. The 1st time I cooked in oven and sauce was too thin. Tonight I followed the recipe and cooked on stovetop. After removing the apples I cooked the sauce until thick and spooned it on the chops/apples once on our plates. That way it didn't thin out from mixing with chops and juice from the apples. I've never tried the pecans but it's delicious w/o them. This is DEFINITELY a keeper!
