Apple Crisp II
This recipe is WONDERFUL! I've made a few changes to fit my family. Substitute nutmeg for the cinnamon (my daughter's allergic) and use cornstarch instead of flour to thicken. I also add a little nutmeg to the crumble and toss in some chopped slivered almonds for additional flavor and crunch - even crunchy when reheated in microwave! Unlike some, I use the water because we like a lot of juice. It's a cross between a crisp and a cobbler. This is definitely a keeper that I make often!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops
I have made this twice now and my family LOVES it. I seasoned chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder. I quadrupled the sauce ingredients, but not the butter, and cooked the chops with Pam instead of veg oil. The 1st time I cooked in oven and sauce was too thin. Tonight I followed the recipe and cooked on stovetop. After removing the apples I cooked the sauce until thick and spooned it on the chops/apples once on our plates. That way it didn't thin out from mixing with chops and juice from the apples. I've never tried the pecans but it's delicious w/o them. This is DEFINITELY a keeper!
