Chex® Muddy Buddies®

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
I love "Puppy Chow" is what we call it, although Muddy Buddies, sounds better. When I was in High school, I was making this with a friend & we made a mistake & put in Mint Chocolate chips & it was AWESOME....So for all you mint lovers try it! All mint is a little to strong, so I make it now with half mint & half milk chocolate & it's OH SO YUMMY!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
I made this for NEW YEARS EVE & it was a huge HIT, I mixed it all together. I used cubed chicken breast them chopped it finer. I used 1/2 Mild & 1/2 Medium Buffalo Wings sauce. I used a combo of shreded Cheddar & Monteray Jack cheese in the package & served with tortilla chips. I baked it in a 8x8 pan 375* for 35 min. It was AWESOME!

Original Hot Brown

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
I halved this recipe & used shredded cheddar cheese & 2 slices of American (Because I didn't have parmesian) I did not add the Heavy cream, because I was out. I also added slices of smoked Ham, because I LOVE ham & I had some on hand. Other than that I added grinded Pepper, Salt & a little Cajun seasoning & made the recipe as is & it was DELICIOUS! I love the HOT BROWN. I prefer my cheese sauce to taste really cheesy & the 2 American slices made it good & cheesy! Very Yummy! I recomend laying this out in a 9x13 pan & serving after Thanksgiving as a Hot Brown Casserole wonderful use for Extra Turkey!

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I made this apple butter with 5 lb. Gala & 1 Ganny Smith (because I needed to use it) apples. I used 2 cups brown sugar & 2 cups white. I had whole cloves pressed in a garlic press & I think I used a tad too much. After cooking the apple butter, I blended it in the blender. I filled 12 .5 Pint jars an inch from the top & put them in a boiling bath for 30 min. It is DELICIOUS! & Relatively painless in the CROCK POT! Excellent Recipe! I will make this again! Thanks for sharing!!!!
