Raisin Bran Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
I made this bread last night following the directions exactly and it was perfect. My husband wants me to make more today. I think I will add some cinnamon this time, but it really does not need anything. Just to clarify, 17 tablespoons of water is 1 cup and 1 tablespoon. I am so happy to have this recipe!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
This was a great recipe! I have tried to cook a whole chicken in the crock pot before, but it never turned out well. This time we really enjoyed it! The only change I made was putting chunks os onions in the bottom instead of foil.

Comforting Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
We really did not like this recipe, but I think the problem was the cut of meat. The gravy was good. The flavor of the meat was notbad, but the meat itself was kind of tough and stringy, I guess. It was the first time I cooked cube steaks. I woul dconsider trying tis recipe again -- maybe witha different cut of beeef.

Pork Tenderloin with Apples

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
This recipe was awesome! I only changed a few things. I doubled the apples because my family loves apples. I knew that part would go over big. I cooked it in my dutch oven instead of a skillet so I knew I had room for the extra apples. I also put the meat back into the apples (not cut into medallions) and put the pot on low until my husband got home from work -- probably an extra 45 mins or so. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly. The apples were awesome. I used 2 Ida Reds we will definitely have this again! Even my 17 year old daughter who pretty much hates meant loved this.
