Dinah's Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2002
I usually like my scallops sans much of anything---but this recipe was simple and light enough to make the most of a delectible seafood entree. I added a teaspoon of fresh ground pepper to the crumb mix to make it extra zingy. Great stuff!! Will make this again and again.

Cranberry Hootycreeks

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2001
I didn't put this in a jar, I made the recipe instead. The only problem is that it doesnt make very many cookies. The taste of cranberries and white chocolate is great though. My boys can't resist the name, too!

EZ Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2001
great stuff and so easy! I had to eliminate the tomato sauce though, since my boys don't like it. I used a mixture of onion salt and pepper on top instead. Made sandwichesfrom the leftovers for days!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2001
This stuff is GREAT with coffee! I made enough to freeze some and then whip it out a month later. My boys were so pleasantly surprised as they were very disappointed when the last crumb of the first loaf was gone....the same day I made it!

My in-house "cookie monster" gave them 2 paws up and ate the entire cookie jar's worth in 2 days ( a new record) He justified the balanced nutrition in Oatmeal Raisin cookies for why he ate them for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I couldnt find any Asiago cheese, so I used Pecorino Romano instead. It was still a great "fondue" treat for my guests who cleaned the BOWL!

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2001
I don't have one speck of Italian in my genes, but this recipe made me look like I knew what I was doing! The taste is great and the prepration is easy as 1-2-3. My boys ate this so quickly and have begged me to make them over and over again!
