Sunday Best Fruit Salad
We really enjoyed this. Like other reviews, I was concerned about the peach filling making it too slimy. I used a fork to remove the peach slices from the can instead. That left about 1/3 of the can with only the filling which I discarded. It turned out perfect! I will definitely keep and make again.

Creamy Chicken on Linguine
This tasted really good and my family loved it. But I thought the sauce was way too thin - like broth. Maybe I did something wrong? I did double the amount for the sauce as several reviews suggested the original was not enough. But I added less than double milk since some also said it was too milky. I will make again, but will try to thicken the sauce.

Baked Mashed Potatoes
I was disappointed in this given all the rave reviews. I prepared the recipe one day, then baked it as directed the next. It was not as rich as I'd expected given the cream cheese. While I don't think its bad for make ahead potatoes, it wasn't anything special. And when it came out of the oven, it was slightly browned and dry looking - did not look appetizing and my guests did not even try it. The next day I took it to potluck dinner. I reheated in microwave, added more milk, butter and chicken broth. Then put back in the oven to finish warming and added fried onions to the top. A big improvement, but I doubt I'll ever use this recipe again.
