I didn't like the way this tasted...I will have to try one of the other recipes (work from the higher rated ones) I was really looking for something that tasted like the Tollhouse cookie, and this didn't:(

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Very moist- delicious; I made 2 dozen muffins instead of making bread/cake. As some reviews suggested, I did reduce the sugar to 2 c white and 1C brown. Next time, however, I will try the 3 Cups white as the recipe states; Did increase the spices (little more than 1t cinnamon and nutmeg) I frosted the muffins with cream cheese frosting, and the frosting added the sweetness I was looking for. Will definitely go into my recipe box; Husband and in-laws LOVED it!!

White Chocolate Fruit Tart

Phenomenal! I'm not a fruit tart kind of person- my husband does not care much about fruits of any kind- but this dessert was absolutely fantastic. Everybody loved it!! I didn't want it to be too tart, so instead of the lemon juice, I added orange juice to the glaze like another reviewer suggested.

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie

Absolutely delicious!! Don't know why, but I added a tsp of vanilla to the cream cheese mixture- tasted great. This may be obvious, but make sure you FREEZE this. I froze it, then left it in the fridge for couple of hours before I served it, and it turned out to be too soft...people loved it all the same! Perfect for a hot day!

Chocolate Earthquake Cake II

This cake is simply awesome! I've been asked to make this several times. I have to mention that it is super sweet! You could probably add a little less sugar and still be fine. I tried making it with a brownie mix and it was great. I followed some of the other reviews- poured some of the cake mix in the pan after reserving 1/2 a cup- then spread the cream cheese in a layer and then spread the rest of the cake mix. It looked perfect!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Absolutely wonderful- make sure you use semi-sweet chocolate though- for some reason, when I used the milk chocolate or white chocolate, it just didn't work. I used this recipe for a cake glaze and also multiple times for chocolate strawberries.

Brown Sugar Smokies

Absolutely LOVED this!! I always look for an excuse to make this. The sweetness of the brown sugar and the smoky bacon and slightly salty sausages are an incredible combination.

Banana Banana Bread

I really liked this recipe- I did add all the brown sugar the recipe called for. I'm assuming that my bananas were not ripe enough b/c I didn't think the bread was sweet enough. Having said that, everyone who ate it thought it was sweet enough, esp. b/c I did add chocolate chips. As one of the reviewers suggested, I did sprinkle brown sugar on top- it added a nice, subtle crunch. Great recipe.
