Kathy's Award Winning Barbeque Sauce

This was a very delicious sauce! We used it for chicken; we marinated the chicken breasts in the fridge for about an hour using some of the sauce. Then we barbecued the chicken while basting the rest of the sauce on. Our guests said it was the best barbecued chicken they've ever had!

Baked Salmon II

This was a wonderful salmon dish! I did not use parsley (I do not like parsley) but followed the rest of the recipe with just a little less basil and it was excellent. I find any time I use olive oil with salmon that it turns out very moist and flavorful; so I new I could not go wrong with this recipe!

Sugar Cookie Icing

This icing was superb! I made a bowl of it and then divided the mixture into smaller bowls and added a different food coloring to each bowl for a variety of colors. It was a bit too thin so added just a little more corn syrup. It still was thin, but workable. I spread it on the cookies using a child's paint brush for some, and a teaspoon for others. In both cases the glaze went on easily and seemed it would be runny...but after a while it dried up just perfectly and shiny. Of course sprinkles were added before they dried and that made them look even prettier!

Mary's Sugar Cookies

These cookies turned out just perfectly! I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't have any almond extract so just for fun put in a spoonful of Frangelico hazelnut liqueur! I made the dough and chilled it in the refrigerator, wrapped in plastic wrap, for 2 days until I finally had a chance to roll them out with the kids. I took the dough out to let it soften for just a few minutes and the cookies still rolled out just fine even though the dough spent extra time in the refrigerator. For the icing, I used the Allrecipe "Sugar Cookie Icing", which was great.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Absolutely perfect! These cookies were super delicious. Just for fun, we rolled some in sugar, some in sprinkles, and some in a mixture of sugar & cinnamon.

Roasted Pork Loin

This roast smelled delicious the whole time it was cooking. But the taste just didn't do anything for us. The meat was dry and tasteless.

Barbecue Ribs

Absolutely wonderful ribs! I prepared the ribs the day before going on a beach trip. I cooked them in the oven for about 3 hours, then let them sit overnight in the refrigerator in the marinade sauce. The next day at the beach, all we had to do was heat up the grill and let them cook, marinating them quite often. Everyone loved them!
