Smoked Salmon Vodka Cream Sauce
Eh . . . not good. Kinda seemed like a waste of perfectly good smoked salmon. Used a good quality smoked salmon, substituted Red Wine for Vodka (didn't have any) - added Asparagus and then added some chicken breast to make meatier for the men in my family. I will not be making this again.

Fresh Tomato Marinara Sauce
Very good & very flavorful! Wonderful to make homemade marinara from my garden fresh tomatoes. I followed the recipe as written, although I doubled it. My sauce was a bit sweet prior to adding the Balsamic Vinegar - so after I added it - the sweetness was tamed. (Probably a result of sweet tomatoes.) My sauce ended up a bit watery, so I added a small can (6 oz.) of Tomato Paste to give it a little boost. Cooked mine for 3 hours. Will make this again!

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker
5 Stars for great taste and EASY! I've made this 4 times and loved it every time - as have my family & guests. Change: I wrap the seasoned roast with bannana leaves (from Asian Market frozen section) - which adds to the sweetness. And I have always used Himalayan Salt - as I have yet to find Hawaiian. Serve with Sticky Rice, Black Beans, Hawaiian Rolls, Tortillas and an assortment of sauces: BBQ, Sweet Chili, Teriyaki, etc. Everyone can find some way to eat this and be happy! Great for entertaining!
