Garbanzo Stir-Fry

WOW! This was way better than I expected. I didn't have zucchini, but added red and orange bell pepper and a pinch of coral sea salt. Absolutely delicious!

Zucchini-Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
These are fabulous! I stuck to the exact recipe, but made them into mini muffins. Soooo good, my kids LOVE them! The second batch I added some quick cooking oats and it turned out just as great.

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2011
Very good cookie, but a bit too sweet. I even used 1/4 cup less sugar than called for and it was still too sweet, besides that, an excellent, easy cookie.

With GourmetMommy's changes these are a 5 star bar! My dad is very picky with his desserts and these were a hit with him! I will definitely keep the altered recipe for many future uses.

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2011
This marinade is AMAZING!!! I followed it exactly - except only used 2 chicken breasts, so would probably double this for 4 breasts. This will become a regular marinade for us now. Thanks for the great recipe!

Simple Beef Flavored Gravy

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
Wow, great recipe! I followed other suggestions of cooking the butter and flour together first after the first batch didn't turn out. I used garlic powder and onion powder for taste and also a bit of Worchestershire (spelling?) sauce.

Czech Cabbage Dish

Mmmmm this is so good! I don't like crunchy cabbage so cooked it until tender. Even my husband who makes horrible faces when I mention cabbage liked it! Thanks for the great recipe!

Black Beans, Corn, and Yellow Rice

This was great! I added sauteed garlic and onion and topped with finely shredded Havarti cheese. Great meal or side dish, this will become a regular!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2011
I was disappointed with this recipe. I wish I would have stuck with my tried and trusty regular recipe but was hoping to find something to top it, this was NOT it. I followed the recipe exactly and came out with a very dry bread (no I didn't not over mix it, just mixed until moistened) The flavor was nothing special, but wasn't bad. I won't be making this one again, sorry.

Angie's Perfect Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
Followed the recipe exactly - came out with "rolls" that were golden brown on top and gooey in the middle.... now trying to salvage to have some sort of bun with the beef dip... since the buns are key in that dinner. The parts that cooked tasted ok, but I am very dissapointed with the results.

This didn't have the "wow" factor I was expecting, but it was very good. Even my 8 year old daughter - who HATES onions - loved it! I will be making this recipe again.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
Simple recipe, amazing results. I followed to recipe as directed, I did bake it for 5 minutes before putting on the toppings, and forgot to let it rise after rolling it out, but it turned out great!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Sooo good and really easy!!! I used semisweet bakers squares, it's all I had on hand and put my chocolate into molds instead of a muffin tin. They turned out amazing and taste great! These are being wrapped up for Christmas parties this year!

Applesauce Wheat Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
Blah, very bland muffins. I like breakfast muffins with little sugar but these had little taste. I had to add 1/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of applesauce, otherwise it was too stiff. I even threw in 1/8 cup of sugar just to sweeten it up a tad. I used frozen mixed berries instead of dried blueberries. I would use this recipe again as a base but would add cinnamon or something to add SOME flavor to it.

Aunt Gail's Oatmeal Lace Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
These cookies are amazing and after one bite became my husbands favorite cookie (and he's a picky cookie eater!) The only change I made was 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar and an extra teaspoon of vanilla. Great job Aunt Gail!!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
Cakes belong in cake pans, not in cookie form. That said, my husband loves them, I do not. I followed the recipie exactly, only used regular vanilla instead of Mexican. I hate cakey cookies and thats what these are. If your looking for a cakey cookie then this is definitely the recipie for you!!!

This was awesome!!! I love that I didn't have to go out and buy anything just to make it, I had it all on hand. The pork was so juicy, I wouldn't change a thing!
