Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
Wonderfully delicious soup. My husband is not a fan of soups with veggies in them but he adored this soup. It was a hearty, filling soup that produced enough leftovers for lunches for the remainder of the week. I made the recipe pretty much as is except I only had 2 cans of beef broth so I used one full can of water. I also did not have any red wine so I omitted that. I used canned tomatoes and dried basil. I made homemade croutons with french baguette and topped the soup with those and an Italian blend cheese. Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe!

Honey Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
This was a very good base recipe. I used fresh veggies (zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli) instead of frozen because I had just went to the farm market. I followed the recipe otherwise. Although after adding the ingredients for the sauces, I felt it needed more so I doubled the sauce. DH really liked it and asked that it be put on the menu again. I enjoyed it as well. Thank you for a good base recipe!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
Our nephews stayed overnight at our house and wanted pancakes for breakfast in the morning. I opened my cupboard and found we were out of pancake mix. So I came to allrecipes and found this quick and easy recipe. What a hit these pancakes were. I made a double batch but easily could have made a triple batch without having any leftovers. The kids (our 3 plus our 2 nephews) all loved them. I'll never buy boxed pancake mix again!

Pineapple Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
Melt in your mouth goodness! My husband is usually not a fan of pork chops, well he ate 2 1/2 of the 4 I made!!! My daughter even gobbled hers right up! Moist, flavorful and delicious. These were quick on the grill, done in about 10 minutes. Definately a keeper!

Ham with Pineapple Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
Delicious! I got a great deal on ham recently and was looking for something to pep it up a bit. And boy did this do the trick! DH loved the sauce and even my picky 4 year old DD gobbled it up. I put the sauce on the ham for the last 10 minutes of baking, uncovered. It made for a very nice addition to an otherwise normal ham dinner. Thank you for sharing!

Chicken Tortilla Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
There were good things and bad things about this soup. The good: The flavor was amazing! The seasonings all blended together to create a flavorful base. Now for the bad: There were way too many tomatoes for our taste. Next time I'll use a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes. Secondly, adding the tortillas at the beginning ended terribly as they became mushy and fell apart. It also just seemed like something was missing...corn, beans, something. I did fry up some corn tortilla strips to add to the top of the soup which kind of saved it for us. Next time I will omit the tortillas at the beginning of the recipe and just fry up strips to top the soup with. I will also add some beans and/or corn. Thank you for a good base recipe though.

Excellent! Made these for my husbands birthday breakfast. He loves biscuits! He took one bite and said "These are the best biscuits that you've ever made!" He said that as my daughter was yelling out "These biscuits are soooo goood mommy!" Simple recipe that is very tasty! Thank you for sharing!

Easy Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
These muffins are GREAT! The recipe is certainly easy, and goes together very quicky. I used fuji apples because thats what was on top of the bushel. I omitted the topping because I just wanted a simple muffin recipe. At the advise of other reviewers, I used 12 muffin cups (sprayed with cooking spray). My house smells amazing and the muffins are delicious. Thanks for an easy recipe!

Allie's Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

One word...EXCELLENT! Thanks for posting this delicious recipe! I'm generally not a fan of homemade mac & cheese. It always seems too dry to me, but this was sooooo good. Creamy and perfectly cheesy.

Stir-Fried Rice

Not sure if I did something wrong but I followed the directions to the letter. I did omit the vegetables because we're not a fan. There just wasn't a lot of flavor. Thank you for sharing but it's not something we'll have again.

Pork Chops German Style

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I was a little hesitant about the combination. Mustard, undiluted condensed soup. Made me a little nervous! But it was delicious! I'm not a huge mustard fan but the chicken soup and mustard were an awesome combination! I didn't have chicken and rice soup, just cream of chicken soup and it was a very nice combination. I served it over steamed white rice with sauerkraut on the side. Lovely recipe that we will keep! Thank you for sharing!

BUSH'S® White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
We really enjoyed this recipe. It was my first time making this. I added a bit of garlic to the recipe as well as a little bit of cayenne pepper for the heat, since I didn't have peppers. We froze the leftovers and can't wait until we can have them again!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Absolutely delicious! And simple to make! I had boneless, skinless chicken thighs, so I used those in place of the breasts. I put the thighs in the crockpot frozen and they were cooked all the way through in no time. I used one can of grand size store brand biscuits and let them cook for about 2 hours. This is a keeper!!!!

Farmhouse Barbecue Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Made these for dinner and paired with beef flavored rice and corn. They were good and kid friendly. My 3 year old ate them but my husband wasn't crazy about them. I did freeze what was leftover and they are the right size to pop in the toaster oven for lunch.
