Breakfast with Mickey!
About this Cook
I love to make homemade meals from scratch for my family. I work a FT job so that's not always possible but we've given up a lot of boxed and processed meals in place of healthier home cooked meals. I love to bake and am always looking for new creations.
My favorite things to cook
Home cooked meals for my family. Anything baked from scratch
My favorite family cooking traditions
Stuffed cabbage. Its cherished in my family and my grandma has taught me and my mother her famous recipe so that we can carry it through to the next generations.
My cooking triumphs
Baking from scratch instead of from a box or bag. My family enjoys these treats much more then the processed ones.
My cooking tragedies
I can't fry a chicken to save my life....

Tacos in Pasta Shells
Good stuff right here! My picky 5 year old gobbled this up and said I should make it every night. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini
Wonderfully delicious soup. My husband is not a fan of soups with veggies in them but he adored this soup. It was a hearty, filling soup that produced enough leftovers for lunches for the remainder of the week. I made the recipe pretty much as is except I only had 2 cans of beef broth so I used one full can of water. I also did not have any red wine so I omitted that. I used canned tomatoes and dried basil. I made homemade croutons with french baguette and topped the soup with those and an Italian blend cheese. Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe!

Fluffy Pancakes
Our nephews stayed overnight at our house and wanted pancakes for breakfast in the morning. I opened my cupboard and found we were out of pancake mix. So I came to allrecipes and found this quick and easy recipe. What a hit these pancakes were. I made a double batch but easily could have made a triple batch without having any leftovers. The kids (our 3 plus our 2 nephews) all loved them. I'll never buy boxed pancake mix again!
