Greek Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
I have been making this recipe from this site for a few years now. The only change I make is adding a whole 16 ounce box of pasta. Otherwise the oil is too much with only two cups of pasta. Extra Feta never hurts either. My 22 year old loves it and so do my 14 year olds.

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
I have made this many times with rave reviews but I have always reduced the butter by half. I think the amount of butter as stated is totally unnessecary. Recently my hubby has been on a no carb diet, so I have made this with double the green pepper and no bread crumbs. It is not quite as good this way, but it is still really yummy and if you are on a no-carb diet you will want to devour them.

Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
I was excited to try this. But unfortunately I have to say it was terrible. My kids wouldn't eat this because it was too sweet. I tasted it and it was like eating a spoonful of sugar. Sorry.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Made these as stated. They were very easy and SINFULLY DELICIOUS. if you make these you will never crave upscale storebought chocolates again. As others suggested, this recipe would be good to try with other filling/coating variations. Go make them now for your Valentine!

Pumpkin Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
My family loves this. It is a really moist crumb cake and if you did not read the recipe you would not know that there was pumpkin in it. The cinnemon neutralizes the pumpkin flavor. You will love this.

Jimmbo's Garlic Knots

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
I make this using 2 thawed packs of frozen pizza dough. I double the topping recipe, but reduce the garlic, Parmesan, salt and red pepper by half. I love Garlic and salt, but trust me, the amount stated is way too much. The other thing I do is place the knots up against each other on the sheet. When they are baked you pull them apart and it leaves a soft spot on the knot that soaks up the oil better. Also, fresh parsley is a MUST, not dried, and fresh garlic, not jared. This is a winner made this way in our house. I've quadrupled the recipe for many pot luck type events and it is always a huge hit.
