About this Cook
I'm a hard worker...okay, that's an understatement. I work 7 days/week and I'm looking forward to going back to school to become a nurse! I recently learned how much I love to cook for other people so basically I started a profile so that I can create some great cooking experiences whenever I get the chance!
My favorite things to cook
Anything with a lot of spices!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember sitting on the counter when I was a little girl and being absoulutely mesmerized just watching my mom cook. I was so excited when there was something I was "big enough" to do! My mom has such a great passion for cooking and she's a fabulous cook I might add. That is definitely high on my list of my favorite childhood memories. :)
My cooking triumphs
The first time I cooked for my boyfriend's family. I wanted to do Thanksgiving dinner for them and everyone kept offering to help, but I wanted to do it on my own. I think my boyfriend was a little nervous because I really hadn't even cooked for him. Everyone was so impressed about my hidden talent! lol
My cooking tragedies
I wanted to make cornbread stuffing for a large group at Christmas time and the recipe I was trying to recreate was only for 4 ppl. I tripled the recipe for all the ingredients, including the sage not knowing how powereful of a spice it was. It was so overpowering, that it waS pretty much all you could taste. It was horrible!

Mom's Zucchini Bread
This is a great recipe!!! My fiancee and I decided to grow zucchini this year and had no idea how quickly they grow so this recipe allowed us to use up a lot of it and give to friends/family. Everyone really loved it and asked me to make more! The cinnamon gives this great flavor.

Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops
The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because the brown sugar mixture was hard to spread on the pork chops. Still amazing though! The sweetness was the perfect element for the pork chops. My boyfriend requests these all the time!
