Curried Hummus

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2007
I normally do not like hummus, but I loved this one. I served it at a small Indian themed dinner party, and it was GOBBLED up by all my guests. Some of my guests were lovers of hummus and commented that they liked the refreshing difference of this dish. So easy, and so good. Highly recommended!

Italian Veggie Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
I have made this recipe several times now, and it is ALWAYS a big hit. It's amazing how much flavor these rolls have. I have been asked for this recipe several times. This has become my "back-up" recipe whenever I want to make something I KNOW everyone will like.

Cathy's Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
A VERY good bread, but I did add a 1/2 tsp of banana extract, and I'm glad I did because the banana taste was pretty faint. However, this bread got rave reviews from those who ate it. All in all, a good bread.

Melt In Your Mouth Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2006
Not bad, but needed more spice. I will probably make this again, and when I do, I will use a lot more spice. I liked the almost custard-like texture to the bread, but those who tried the bread thought it was a little bland. Somehow, it still managed to disappear within a few days.

Asian Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
Fantastic!! I made this salad for a family barbeque, and though I thought the peanut flavor was a bit too much, everyone else raved about the salad. When I make this again, I may cut back a bit on the peanut butter. Such a great salad!

Creamy Italian Dressing I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
Very, very good! This dressing was a hit with the "ranch-only" eaters in the house. My only complaint was the lingering onion taste, long after dinner was over. I think when I make this again (and I will), I will use a bit less onion. Otherwise, very good, thanks Cathy.

Black Bean and Corn Salad II

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2003
A terrific 'salsa', a little to chunky for a salad. I served it to a group of friends who came over for dinner and they all ate it with chips. Got rave reviews, but only as a dip.

Superb. Have made it three times for three different crowds, and it was a hit each time!

Cajun Appetizer Meatballs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2003
Excellent. I was a little worried about the sauce, but it was a HUGE hit at a potluck dinner I went to. After the meatballs were gone, everyone was taking the sauce to dip their other meats into. Had several requests for the recipe. Big winner!

Chili Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2002
An "okay" dish, fine for a ordinary night, wouldn't serve it to guests. Just a little bland. I rolled some of the potato mixture into corn tortillas and fried them for potato tacos, and that was pretty good. Will try some of the suggestions in the review.

Wonderful taste, a tad bit dry. Would make again, adding something for a bit more moisture.

Cream of Broccoli Soup IV

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2002
This soup was good, but not terrific. It was missing something. Next time, I would add cheese and maybe some sauted onion and red bell pepper. Just to add some flavor.

Seven Layer Tortilla Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2002
TERRIFIC! One of the best. Next time, I think I would add a tad bit of taco or enchilada sauce, was a bit dry. Otherwise, it had fantastic flavor.

Fantastic!!! This sauce is so good. I omitted the sausage (I'm a vegetarian), but it was still delicious. Will keep this one forever!
