I am a teacher and a mom of two boys. I have always loved to bake. I am always looking for opportunities to try new recipes! I love to bake desserts, especially cookies and cakes. I love cooking for my boys, who tell me that I am the best cook! That makes it all worth-while! My favorite cooking day is Thanksgiving. I love helping my mom prepare the dinner and especially love when we are cooking for a big crowd. I like all the traditional favorites, but I also like to try a new recipe each year! I mastered the art of making cream puffs (including a blancmange filling) at 13. I also won my first blue ribbon for cakes that year. I am also very proud of my Allrecipes submissions! I simply cannot make those cupcakes in ice cream cones. I have tried it twice - this last time for my youngest's 6th birthday and both times I have had to throw out the results!
