Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Mine didn't turned out creamy although it taste good. I used 11 large russet potatoes boiled a day ahead. Maybe less potatoes or smaller potatoes will do it. Help anyone. How do you make this creamier or what potatoes did you use?

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Excellent. However, next time I will puree it for smooth sauce and maybe take out the nuts or put it after the sauce is pureed.

Cheese Fondue

Everyone said this was very good served with French bread. I serve it as an appetizer before dinner to entertain dinner guests and family. I didn't even taste it because I was busy cooking in the kitchen.

Ma Lipo's Apricot-Glazed Turkey with Roasted Onion and Shallot Gravy

The only thing I did different with this recipe is put the turkey in "turkey bag" because our oven is old and doesn't cook on time specified in the recipe. I was afraid the turkey won't cook on time. So the turkey was done in 3 hours and I didn't baste it. It was not crispy. I took it out from the bag and placed it on the rack and glazed it. I put it back in the oven, added the onion mixture and follow the rest of the recipe from then on. I baste it and glazed it. It turned out very good even if I cooked it overtime and still not crispy but moist. Everyone loves the onion-shallot gravy. I will follow the recipe next year when we replace our old oven. Thank you for your delicious recipe. It's a keeper.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

This is my first time to roast turkey and I did it for my grandaughter's school party last Tuesday, Nov. 20. I have not tasted it but my daughter said it was a hit. Everyone likes it and some children aged 5-6 comes back for seconds and thirds. The teacher and the help also likes it and asked for the recipes. I marinated it overnight and tent it lightly with foil during cooking time and baste it a lot. Thank you for your delicious recipe.
